What to watch for

Signs it’s time to call.

Multiple drains backing up
When everything backs up at once, the issue is downstream โ€” usually the main sewer line.
Soggy spots in the yard
Wet patches that don’t dry, or unusually green grass in a stripe โ€” sometimes a leaking water line.
Slow drains, everywhere
Whole-house slow drains point at the main, not the fixtures.
Sewage smell outside
A break or crack in the sewer line letting waste into the soil.
A water bill that jumped
Use hasn’t changed but the bill spiked โ€” possible water-line leak underground.
Trees near the line
Roots seek water. Older clay or cast-iron lines are especially vulnerable.
How we approach it

See the problem first. Then plan the fix.

Sewer and water line work is expensive enough that nobody should be guessing at it. Before we recommend repair or replacement, we run a camera through the line so you and we can see what we’re actually dealing with โ€” roots, a belly, a crack, a complete failure, or just years of build-up.

From there we’ll lay out the options in plain English: spot repair when it’ll hold, full replacement when it won’t. You’ll get a flat-rate written quote with what’s included, and we’ll handle the permitting and inspections that come with the work.

What we’ll do
  • โœ“Camera-inspect the line so we can see what we’re looking at
  • โœ“Walk you through what the camera shows
  • โœ“Lay out repair vs. replacement options honestly
  • โœ“Pull permits and coordinate inspections
  • โœ“Do the work โ€” and leave the yard in good shape
  • โœ“Verify the line with another camera pass before we close out
What it costs

A flat-rate written quote, in person.

Sewer and water line work varies more than almost anything else we do โ€” line length, depth, what’s above it, pipe material, what the city requires. We won’t guess on the phone. Camera inspection first, then a flat-rate written quote covering excavation, replacement, pressure-test, and restoration. Our service fee is fair and transparent, and we credit it back when you hire us for the work.
