Garbage Disposal Installation & Repair

Service

Disposals
that work again.

Jammed, leaking, humming, or just done. Most repairs are a single visit. When the unit is past saving, we’ll replace it with a model that fits your sink and your habits โ€” and haul the old one off.

What to watch for

Signs it’s time to call.

Hums but won’t spin
Usually a jam โ€” sometimes fixable, sometimes a sign the motor is going.
Leaks at the bottom
Cracked housing or worn seal. That one’s a replacement.
Leaks at the top
Usually the sink flange or the drain connection. Often repairable.
Loud or grinding noise
Foreign object, worn impeller, or bearings on their way out.
Won’t turn on
Tripped reset, bad switch, or motor done. We diagnose first.
Just slow and tired
Older units lose torque. Sometimes a replacement is the right call.
How we approach it

Fix it if it’s fixable. Replace it if it’s not.

Most disposal calls are jam clears, reset trips, or a worn seal. We’ll always check what’s repairable first, because a working unit you already paid for is better than a new one you didn’t need.

When the housing is cracked, the motor is going, or the unit is just at the end, we’ll replace it. We’ll point you at a model that matches your sink, your usage, and your kitchen โ€” and we’ll install it cleanly and tested.

What we’ll do
  • โœ“Diagnose what’s actually wrong โ€” clear the jam or test the motor
  • โœ“Repair when it’s a worth-it repair
  • โœ“Help you choose a replacement that fits your sink
  • โœ“Install the new unit โ€” tested and sealed
  • โœ“Haul off the old one
  • โœ“Walk you through the basics so it lasts
What it costs

A flat-rate written quote, in person.

Disposal pricing depends on whether it’s a repair, a brand-equivalent swap, or an upgrade to a higher-horsepower model. We come out, see the unit and the connections, and give you a flat-rate written quote before any work starts. Our service fee is fair and transparent, and we credit it back when you hire us for the work.
